About micro weddings

A micro wedding is a smaller, more intimate version of a traditional wedding, typically with 20 guests or fewer. They tend to be more relaxed, personal, and often more affordable than a full scale wedding, while still feeling every bit as special. We love photographing them.

Absolutely. Smaller weddings are often even more emotionally charged. The moments are more intimate, the reactions more visible, and there is nowhere to hide a bad photo. A professional photographer ensures those moments are captured properly, no matter the size of your day.

An elopement usually involves just the two of you and sometimes a couple of witnesses, often in a non traditional location. A micro wedding still has a small guest list, a ceremony, and many of the traditions of a full wedding, just on a more intimate scale. We offer photography for both.

Our packages

For most micro weddings, our 2 hour Essential package covers the ceremony and couple portraits beautifully. If you would like more relaxed coverage, including pre ceremony moments or a little more time with guests, our 4 hour Extended package gives you that breathing room without the commitment of a full wedding package.

Both options are available. As a husband and wife team, we naturally work together. One of us covers the ceremony while the other captures reactions. For smaller weddings, one photographer can work perfectly well, but having two means you never miss a moment from either side of the room.

The number of images varies depending on the length of coverage and the flow of your day, but you can expect a fully curated gallery of your best moments and not just a raw collection of every frame taken. Every image is individually edited to our signature style before delivery.

Practical questions

We are based in Lisburn and cover weddings across all of Northern Ireland, from Belfast city venues to coastal locations in Antrim and Down, the Causeway Coast, and the Fermanagh Lakelands. Travel is included for most Northern Ireland locations. Get in touch and we will confirm coverage for your venue. An additional fee for mileage may apply depending on the location.

We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your date. Popular Saturdays can book up 12 to 18 months ahead. That said, we do occasionally have availability for dates at shorter notice, so do not hesitate to reach out even if your wedding is coming up soon.

Our style is documentary and natural. We prefer to observe and capture rather than pose and direct. We move through your day quietly, anticipating moments before they happen. The result is a gallery that feels authentic to how your day actually was, not how a photographer told you to stand.

The easiest way is to message us on WhatsApp with your wedding date, location, and the package you are interested in (Essential 2 hour or Extended 4 hour), and whether you would like one or two photographers. We will get back to you quickly with a personalised quote.
