The Legal Side of Eloping
Eloping doesn't mean skipping the legal side. You will still need to give notice of marriage to the registrar for the council area where you will marry, have the right documents ready, and make sure whoever marries you is legally recognised to do so. My husband and I had a small, intimate elopement ceremony at the Dunluce Castle in Northern Ireland. Tommy and Laurene were INCREDIBLE and took the most beautiful pictures.
They were super accommodating, quick to reply, and overall just very helpful. We came in from Atlanta, GA, so not only did they capture the most beautiful wedding photos we could ever ask for, but they also helped us with some of the travel stuff too! They gave advice on what town we should stay in, where to eat, and even places that we should see during our visit.
We are truly so thankful that we found and chose them to capture our special day. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking to elope in Northern Ireland.

We are a husband and wife team and have photographed hundreds of weddings in Northern Ireland. Many of the weddings we have photographed have been for couples who have planned their wedding while living in other countries including places as far away as Dubai, Australia, New Zealand, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Canada and the U.S.A.
As experienced wedding photographers we can not only photograph your elopement and provide you with stunning images from your Northern Ireland experience on one of the best days of your lives, we know all the best places to visit and when the best time is to visit them.
Many elopement photographers want to take on ownership of planning your N.I elopement. They want to set your timeline for you, choose your vendors for you etc. We can understand why some couples might prefer this, as it may seem like the easiest option. We think however that this takes away from all the planning excitement that couples have and so we take a different approach.
We are always happy to help our couples with advice, including suggestions for the best ceremony location for the day they have envisioned and the best locations to visit for photographs. We are also always happy to recommend our friends within the wedding industry who are top class professional vendors for everything needed to have an amazing elopement, from celebrants to perform the ceremony to florists and makeup artists etc. However rather than controlling everything ourselves we will give whatever help you ask for, without taking over your big day. We are also more than happy to be your witnesses on the day if needed.
Not just 100%, we would 1000% recommend Pure Photo N.I. Honestly we have never been so happy that we found Tommy and Laurene to do our wedding photos. The photos they captured are incredible. Two of the most down to earth people with a wealth of knowledge for photos and locations that made our day go so smoothly.
Every one of the many many photos in our album are fantastic, weve even got lots of beautiful natural photos we hadn't realised at the time were being taken and we are delighted they were took cus they are breathtaking. The attention to detail for everything is absolutely amazing and the personal service is out of this world, we laughed and chatted like weve known each other forever, that's how at ease these two make you feel. You will never get better wedding photographers anywhere else.

For Northern Ireland elopement photography we offer 3 options based on the amount of coverage required. At every elopement we photograph you will have two photographers, as a husband and wife team, we always work together.
We have found that our option 1 elopement package is best suited to couples who want coverage from the ceremony plus 2 photo locations. Option 2 usually suits couples who either want to include some getting ready photography, or who want to visit more locations. Option 3 is for those who want extended coverage.

How much does elopement photography cost in Northern Ireland?
Our elopement photography starts at £1,050 for 4 hours of coverage, with 6 hours at £1,300 and 8 hours at £1,550. Every option includes two photographers and a password protected online gallery. See the full options.
Is an elopement in Northern Ireland legally binding?
