The Legal Side of Eloping
Eloping doesn't mean skipping the legal side. You will still need to give notice of marriage to your local registrar, have the right documents ready, and make sure whoever marries you is legally recognised to do so. Many elopement photographers want to take on ownership of planning your N.I elopement. They want to set your timeline for you, choose your vendors for you etc. We can understand why some couples might prefer this, as it may seem like the easiest option. We think however that this takes away from all the planning excitement that couples have and so we take a different approach.
We are always happy to help our couples with advice, including suggestions for the best ceremony location for the day they have envisioned and the best locations to visit for photographs. We are also always happy to recommend our friends within the wedding industry who are top class professional vendors for everything needed to have an amazing elopement, from celebrants to perform the ceremony to florists and make-up artists etc. However rather than controlling everything ourselves we will give whatever help you ask for, without taking over your big day. We are also more than happy to be your witnesses on the day if needed.

For Northern Ireland elopement photography we offer 3 options based on the amount of coverage required. At every elopement we photograph you will have two photographers, as a husband & wife team, we always work together.
We have found that our option 1 elopement package is best suited to couples who want coverage from the ceremony plus 2 photo locations. Option 2 usually suits couples who either want to include some getting ready photography, or who want to visit more locations. Option 3 is for those who want extended coverage.
