We have photographed weddings at Hillmount House near Drains Bay and at Ballygally Castle, and we love how different the two feel. One is a restored Georgian country house with gardens and a courtyard, the other a historic castle with the beach close by, and both give a photographer plenty to work with.
You will spend more time with your photographer than with almost anyone else on the day, so personality matters. We keep things calm and unposed, and we make you feel at ease, because that is when natural, relaxed photographs happen. Of you, your family and your friends.

We are Tommy and Laurene, and we have photographed weddings together since 2014. After all these years we can read each other across a room without saying a word, which means two perspectives on your Larne wedding and a team that works as one.
The two people you chat to when you first get in touch are the two people who turn up on your wedding day. Whether you are marrying at Hillmount House, Ballygally Castle Hotel or somewhere new to us, there is never a second shooter you have never heard of, and never a handover to someone else.
We photograph your getting ready, your first look at each other and your portraits, always in a natural, unposed way.
While one of us is with you, the other is watching your partner's reaction, your parents and your guests, which is where so many of the best moments happen.

Mostly quietly watching
Most of your day is spent capturing it as it happens, and only a small part is spent borrowing you away from your guests. Here is roughly how we split a full day of documentary wedding photography.
From the morning prep to the dancing, no staging, no interrupting and no asking anyone to do that hug again. Two of us means we catch the moments you see and plenty of the ones you miss.
The only time we borrow you. Thirty minutes, a short walk and a bit of good light is all it takes, with no stiff posing, just the two of you getting a breather together.
Quick, organised and painless. We keep group photos moving so everyone important is in the gallery and back with the guests before they know it.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Rain is part of life in Northern Ireland, so we always plan for it. Many of our favourite photographs were taken under cloud, and we will help you find sheltered spots at your venue for portraits, whatever the weather does.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as your date is confirmed. Popular dates, especially Fridays and Saturdays in summer, can fill up a long way in advance, though we do sometimes have last minute availability. Send us a quick message on WhatsApp and we will tell you straight away if we are free.
Will you photograph a small or micro wedding near Larne?
