We are Tommy and Laurene, and we have photographed weddings together since 2014. After all these years we can read each other across a room without saying a word, which means two perspectives on your Downpatrick wedding and a team that works as one.
The two people you chat to when you first get in touch are the two people who turn up on your wedding day. Whether you are marrying at Old Court, the Mill at Ballydugan or Tullyveery House, there is never a second shooter you have never heard of, and never a handover to someone else.
We photograph your getting ready, your first look at each other and your portraits, always in a natural, unposed way.
While one of us is with you, the other is watching your partner's reaction, your parents and your guests, which is where so many of the best moments happen.

Mostly quietly watching
Most of your day is spent capturing it as it happens, and only a small part is spent borrowing you away from your guests. Here is roughly how we split a full day of documentary wedding photography.
From the morning prep to the dancing, no staging, no interrupting and no asking anyone to do that hug again. Two of us means we catch the moments you see and plenty of the ones you miss.
The only time we borrow you. Thirty minutes, a short walk and a bit of good light is all it takes, with no stiff posing, just the two of you getting a breather together.
Quick, organised and painless. We keep group photos moving so everyone important is in the gallery and back with the guests before they know it.

Where are the best places for wedding photos in Downpatrick?
It depends on your ceremony and your timings. Inch Abbey gives you dramatic medieval ruins, Old Court has lawns running down to Strangford Lough, Tullyveery has a lake and open fields, and Tollymore Forest Park, the Mourne Mountains and the County Down beaches are all within reach too. Some locations need permission, so we talk it through with you in advance.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Rain is part of life in Northern Ireland, so we always plan for it. Many of our favourite photographs were taken under cloud, and we will help you find sheltered spots at your venue for portraits, whatever the weather does.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as your date is confirmed. Popular dates, especially Fridays and Saturdays in summer, can fill up a long way in advance, though we do sometimes have last minute availability. Send us a quick message on WhatsApp and we will tell you straight away if we are free.
Will you photograph a small or micro wedding in Downpatrick?
