Tullyveery House Wedding | Louise + Lee

Imagine this the sun shining brightly overhead, casting a warm golden glow on everyone gathered in the enchanting walled garden of Tullyveery House. Louise and Lee, a couple deeply in love, exchanged their vows on this exquisite summer day, the 17th of August. The air was filled with joy and anticipation, the perfect setting for an amazing wedding day.

Louise and the girls got ready from Tullyveery on the morning of the wedding, we have never seen a bride breeze through make-up and hair so quickly. Louise wanted to spend as much time chilling out with her besties as possible before the ceremony.

As wedding photographers in Northern Ireland, we are lucky to visit some absolutely beautiful wedding venues all over the country and Tullyveery House is right up there with the very best of them.

There was a little bit of a hold up before the ceremony as while Louise and Lee were very much ready to go and couldn’t wait to get married, a few of their guests arrived a little bit late. The ceremony itself was held outdoors in the picturesque walled garden, with lush greenery surrounding Louise and Lee as they exchanged their heartfelt vows. The sun shone brightly on this warm summer day, casting a golden glow on the faces of the couple and their loved ones. It was a true celebration of unity and devotion.

Following the ceremony, the courtyard became a hub of joy and jubilation. Friends and family gathered to raise their glasses in celebration, toasting to the happiness and this new chapter in Louise and Lee's lives. Laughter filled the air as heartfelt stories were shared, creating an atmosphere of pure joy and camaraderie. The guys also used this opportunity to cut their wedding cake in front of their family and friends.

This was one of the warmest days we have had at a wedding for a good long while and while that was great for all of those celebrating in the courtyard at Tullveery. High sun and intense heat aren’t the best conditions for photography, so as we made our way around the grounds with the guys, we sought out coolness and shade where possible.

Louise and Lee very much wanted the relaxed vibe that doing as much as possible outdoors on your wedding day brings. With the amazing weather holding up all day, once we had completed their portraits and shot some stuff with the bridal party and their family, they were able to chill out in the courtyard with their speeches taking place there as well. As the speeches commenced, we couldn't help but notice the raw emotions etched on the faces of all of the guests. Huge big smiles and lots of laughter everywhere you looked!

After dinner the sun started to drop a bit so we talked Louise and Lee into heading back out again for 10 minutes with us. Tullyveery is such a beautiful place for wedding photography and Louise and Lee were a ton of fun, so we wanted to make the most of it.

On getting back to the courtyard the guys were welcomed with each of their guests holding sparklers aloft welcoming them back for their first dance. Having the dancing outdoors always adds something extra to the atmosphere and that was very much the case here. After big hugs from Louise and Lee we headed for home reflecting on what a great day it had been and how happy we were to have been there to document it.
