Northern Ireland Communion Photography - St. Colmans & Castle Gardens Lisburn
Hollie & Shannon's First Holy Communion
When I first spoke to Hollie's father Sean, about this shoot he explained that he was hoping to get away from the traditional way kids are photographed for a holy communion. This tends to involve the kids being taken to the local portrait studio for a 30 minute studio session shot against a white or black background. As the communion was taking place at St. Colmans and the two girl’s families were then meeting at the Linen House restaurant I suggested stopping of in between at Lisburn Castle Gardens.
We met up with Hollie, Shannon and the rest of the two families at St. Colmans. Luckily we were able to get access to the Church, because as soon as we arrived it started to rain very heavily. The two girls were very excited, so it was a good opportunity to have a little fun with them.

The rain eased of and we were able to make our way to Lisburn Castle Gardens. Having had no clear winner at St.Colmans battle recommenced straight away.
