Belfast Wedding Photography | Balmoral Hotel | Maura & John

Maura and John got married on the 8th of October at St. Pauls in Belfast. After the ceremony we stopped off with the bridal party at Sir Thomas & Lady Dixons Park, before making our way to the Balmoral Hotel for the reception.

We met up in the morning with Maura and her bridesmaids at her mum’s house in Belfast. The house as you would expect was buzzing with excitement, nerves and activity. Maura still made time, to make sure we were well looked after and to help her mum tidy up after breakfast.

BELFAST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

We arrived at St. Pauls with Maura not far behind us. Maura, is probably the first of our brides to arrive for the ceremony early. St. Pauls is a very traditional building with its own unique atmosphere and proved to be the perfect backdrop for Maura and John’s wedding ceremony.

Sir Thomas & Lady Dixon Park is awesome for wedding photography, we have worked there many times before and from a photography point of view there are so many different little areas to use that it must be one of the best parks in Northern Ireland to go for wedding photographs. It is well known and popular though, so John had made arrangements for the use of the park many months ago.

The staff at the Balmoral Hotel were very friendly and the room looked perfect, the food was lovely too. John’s speech was great both funny and emotional, we even got a mention, many thanks John!
