Northern Ireland Wedding Photography | The Causeway Coast | Shauna & Lewis

On the 3rd of May we spent a wonderful day travelling along the Causeway Coast with Shauna, Lewis and their family. Shauna & Lewis hired a beautiful vintage bus to transport us all along the coast to some of our absolute favourite places. We started our bus journey at the Causeway Lodge before visiting the Dark Hedges, White Rocks Beach, Dunluce Castle, the overview at White Park Bay and ended our journey at the wonderful Red Door Tea Room at Ballintoy Harbour. This was a truly awesome day to be a wedding photographer in Northern Ireland.

We were not there for the ceremony part of the wedding as Shauna & Lewis had opted for a private ceremony a few days before, that however didn’t stop this from being an emotional day. Lewis had arranged for the vintage bus to bear the name of his late grandfather and there was barely a dry eye in the house when Lewis’s grandmother saw the bus for the first time. The weather didn’t always play ball and for large parts of the day we had to deal with fierce winds (when is it any different on the Causeway Coast) and a fair bit of rain. Shauna however was well prepared and had brought along umbrella’s and even some little white wellies for the ladies. We love it when our couples are so well prepared.
