2018 Best Of | Wedding Photographer Northern Ireland
What an amazing year 2018 has been. Every year we like to share some of our favourite photographs from the year past and every year it gets harder and harder to choose which images to share. Last year we simply couldn’t choose and instead we narrowed our favourites down to a few hundred photographs and randomly picked a selection from those and this time around we have had to do the same thing.
Everything from a work point of view in 2018 has gone amazingly well, we photographed more weddings than we have ever done before and we have worked along with some incredible wedding vendors at beautiful wedding venues all over Northern Ireland along withe lots of Belfast wedding photography.
2018 from a personal point of view has been a difficult year for us. Losing a parent is an awful thing to deal with for any family. Weddings are of course very much family events full of emotional moments and at first, we worried that our loss would make it difficult for us to photograph these, but the opposite has been true. Better than ever before we understand how important these moments are and how important it is for our couples and their families to have photographs which document them.
It is normal for us for a lot of our weddings to take place in and around Belfast but this year more than any other we have visited wedding venues around Northern Ireland and we have both really enjoyed visiting the venues we haven’t worked at before.
During 2018 we feel that we have produced some of our best photography to date. This resulted in some of our weddings being featured in popular local wedding magazine’s including Northern Ireland’s Wedding Journal. We were also featured on several online wedding blogs as well.
We also received a few wedding photography awards for our work and we have a lot of people to thank for that. Firstly, our couples, we have loved being along for the ride on your wedding days. Thank you SO MUCH for choosing us to document your big day, we have had so much fun spending the day with you all. Thank you to every one of you that has recommended us to other couples who need a wedding photographer. We don’t attend wedding fairs, we don’t advertise in glossy magazines so we rely a lot on your recommendations. Thank you also to all the amazing wedding vendors we have worked with in 2018, we can’t wait to see you all again in 2019.
We are really excited to get started with our 2019 weddings, visit new venues and spend the day with our 2019 couples and we hope you all have an amazing start to the new year!
