Dunadry Hotel Wedding | Bernadette & Sean

Bernadette & Sean where married on the 13th of December at St. Brigid’s Parish in Belfast and held their wedding reception at the Dunadry Hotel in Antrim.

As a lot of brides do, Bernadette decided to get ready from her parent’s house, so we met up with her there on the morning of the wedding. It was a pretty fast paced morning as everyone got ready for the day ahead but Bernadette took it all in her stride and was ready in plenty of time.

After leaving Bernadette we made our way over to St. Brigid’s to meet up with Sean to grab a quick photograph of him and the rest of the guys before the ceremony. After chatting to the officiant for the day it was explained to us that there was to be no photography allowed during the ceremony itself but that we would be allowed to take a quick photograph of Bernadette coming down the aisle and the signing of the register. We were disappointed for Bernadette and Sean as we know that they would have liked to have had photographs of the ceremony. They both dealt with it well though and didn’t allow it to disrupt them enjoying their wedding day.

After the ceremony while the rest of the wedding party made their way to the Dunadry Hotel for the reception we stopped of at Antrim Castle Gardens for bride and groom portraits. We had a lot less time than we would usually allow for this as by the time we arrived it was late afternoon and there was little available light left to use. We made the most of the time we had though and Bernadette and Sean where both really good fun to work with.

Once we arrived at the Dunadry Hotel we arranged a few photographs of the bridal party and family before the speeches. The room used for Bernadette and Sean’s reception looked great and the staff at the hotel where all very friendly and accommodating.  We especially liked the large heart shaped light that was used to decorate the area used for the wedding cake.
