A Romantic Engagement Session at Bangor Castle | Emma + Sam

With the unexpected beautiful weather we have had over the last few weeks lots of couples have been taking the opportunity to schedule their engagement photography session. A couple of week’s ago it was Emma and Sam’s turn to be in front of our camera’s. They were both keen to get some practice in before their wedding which is only a couple of months away.

Emma and Sam's engagement session was nothing short of awesome! Set against the timeless elegance of Bangor Castle in County Down, their shoot was filled with beautiful sunlight, genuine smiles, and the kind of love that radiates in every frame.

From the moment Emma and Sam arrived, it was clear how much joy they bring to each other's lives. The historic beauty of Bangor Castle with its manicured gardens, and quiet woodland paths offered the perfect backdrop to celebrate their journey towards saying “I do.”

We wandered through the grounds, capturing candid moments and little exchanges that made the session feel so natural. Emma’s laughter echoed through the trees as Sam gently pulled her in close, and there were more than a few times we had to pause because the two of them couldn’t stop smiling at each other. Those are the best kind of pauses.

Emma and Sam have a beautiful energy, laid-back, full of fun, and completely in sync. They made this session so enjoyable and effortless. It’s easy to see they’re not just planning a wedding, but a life full of shared adventures, laughter, and love.

As they count down the days to their big day, this engagement shoot at Bangor Castle is a beautiful reminder of what it's all about: love, connection, and a future together that already feels like home. We can’t wait to see them again for their wedding at the Glenpark Estate in Omagh come June.
