Engagement Session Belfast | Sir. Thomas & Lady Dixon Park | Bethany + Andrew

We recently spent a lovely evening with Bethany & Andrew for their engagement session at Sir. Thomas & Lady Dixon Park in Belfast.

Bethany & Andrew first met through their local church and although it took them a while before they got together, they have been inseparable ever since. They will be getting married later on this year and we will be photographing their wedding as well at the Burrendale Hotel. It’s always nice to be a wedding photographer in Newcastle.. Although they booked us for the wedding some time ago this was the first time we have got to meet with them face to face.

Bethany & Andrew chose Sir. Thomas & Lady Dixon Park for their engagement session after seeing another couple’s engagement session we photographed here a while back. As we have mentioned here many times previously the park is great for portraits of all types and we have visited here many times before to photograph everything from family portraits too weddings. It can sometimes be very busy here but the guys chose a great evening to go as the park was pretty much empty compared to normal and it was also the perfect time to take advantage of the beautiful warm golden hour light. While it was too early in the year for Rose Week the Park was still full of colour.

One of the great things about engagement sessions is that as well as getting some nice photographs it allows us to get to know our couples better before the big day and for them to get to know us a little bit better as well. Bethany & Andrew are so excited to get married, move into their new home and start their lives together.
