Hilton Templepatrick Wedding | Emma & Peter

Emma and Peter got married on the 15th of September at the Hilton Templepatrick Golf and Country Club.

Emma and her bridesmaid had stayed at the hotel the night before so we met up with them there for getting ready photographs. We arrived a little early so had time for a quick look around the venue before going to find Emma.

Once Emma was nearly ready we headed over to the Castle Upton Suite to meet up with Peter before the ceremony. The room used for the ceremony looked amazing with lots of attention to detail and there weren’t too many signs of any pre-wedding nerves from Peter.

After the ceremony the guys struggled to get away from their guests as can sometimes happen so we where a bit later getting started with bride and groom portraits than would have been ideal as the ceremony was also quite late on in the day. Unfortunately, as soon as we got to the area we wanted to use it started to rain, but we where able to find another area with a bit of shelter and made the most of it. The grounds around the hotel are beautiful but we were not able to make use of them as this is a very popular golf course and understandably can’t be used for wedding photographs for health and safety reasons while people are playing. However, we are really pleased with the portraits we did take.

After shooting the family/group photos Emma & Peter had wanted we made our way back into the hotel for the cutting of the cake. Emma and Peter had opted for no formal speeches although Peter said a few words.

After dinner we photographed the guys first dance and Emma and her Dad had a tradional father/daughter dance as well before everyone else hit up the dance floor.
