We are very excited to be able to share just some of our favourite images from Paul and Laura's wedding a couple of weeks ago. The McVeigh wedding was understated and beautiful, a day (and night) full of happiness and laughter. We knew when we met Paul, Laura and there beautiful young daughter Lucy for the first time, that it was going to be an amazing day.
It was also the most changeable weather I have probably ever encountered as a photographer. As a Northern Ireland wedding photographer we often have to dodge a little rain, but during Paul & Laura's wedding we had extremely heavy rain, hail stones the size of golf balls, snow and even a gale force wind. The wind was so strong Laura lost a windscreen wiper on the way to the ceremony.
We started of the day with a visit to Laura Shannon Hairdressers in Bangor, Co. Down.
We then made our way a little down the road to the Court Yard Beauty Spa for Laura's make up application, with breakfast included, how great is that.
At this point with timescales running a little tight we raced of to Laura's mothers home to shoot her beautiful wedding dress, shoes and of course the wedding rings.
Then we were off again to the Belfast City Hall for the ceremony.

Paul seemed happy and relaxed while we waited for Laura's arrival
Little Lucy spent most of the time trying to run away from the camera

Our original plan had been to visit Crawfordsburn Country Park after the ceremony but due to to the changeable weather we called in at The Old Inn instead.

Our final stop was the wonderful Fontana Restaurant in Holywood, Co.Down. Paul and Laura hired out the whole restaurant and after enjoying the delicious food ourselves I can understand why.

I love this image, one of my absolute favourites

A massive thank you to Paul and Laura for choosing us as the photographer for their beautiful celebrations, and for making us feel so welcome all day. We are sure you will have a wonderful and happy life together!
