Galgorm Wedding | Charlotte + Timothy

Charlotte and Timothy’s wedding was on the 26th of May. The ceremony took place in the Phantom House at Galgorm Resort & Spa with their wedding reception also taking place at Galgorm in the Renaissance Suite.

We had an early start for Charlotte and Timothy’s wedding as Charlotte got ready from her mums and dad’s home in Ballymoney, which meant a long early morning drive for us. Charlotte’s mum and dad were the perfect hosts and we felt as welcome as one of the family. Everything went like clockwork thanks to some great organisation and there was none of the usual last-minute panic to get ready. We loved the little moment between Charlotte and her dad when he seen her ready and in her dress for the first time.

Phantom House at Galgorm Wedding Photos

This was our first time photographing a ceremony at Galgorm Resort, on our previous visits here our couples have always had their ceremony elsewhere. The Phantom Room is very atmospheric and many of the guests said how beautiful it looked. The ceremony was performed by an independent celebrant who is a family friend of Charlotte’s making it more personal and special.

After the ceremony and after the guys had made it through all the confetti, we went for a walk around the venue with Charlotte and Timothy, everything was picture perfect as it always is at Galgorm. There were no other weddings taking place on the day either, so we had the full run of the grounds without bumping into to any other couples and their wedding parties.

Once we had finished Charlotte & Timothy’s bride and groom portraits we headed back for a few photos with the bridal party and their family. We were able to get everything cone in good time so the guys had plenty of time to chill out with their family and friends before they were called in for the speeches.

Charlotte’s dad’s speech was a funny one and included plenty of photos of Charlotte when she was young, he even managed to sneak in a few photos of Timothy as well. Everyone seemed to have a great day and Charlotte told us that for many of her guests this was their first visit to Galgorm and they absolutely loved it.
