Glenpark Estate Wedding | Emma + Sam

Some days are simply unforgettable, and the 7th of June was exactly that for Emma and Sam. On this beautiful early summer day, surrounded by family, friends, and endless love, they got married at the breathtaking Glenpark Estate in Omagh.

We first had the pleasure of meeting Emma and Sam when we photographed their beautiful engagement session a couple of months ago, and it became clear to us at that moment that we were going to be in for an absolutely amazing day when their wedding finally rolled around.

On the morning of the wedding day, we met up with Emma and the girls at her mum and dad’s lovely home in Kesh. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel immediately welcome, which made the long drive from Lisburn very much worth it. The warmth and joy radiating from Emma’s family and the rest of the girls set the perfect tone for the day ahead.

On the lead up to the wedding Emma and Sam were very open to our advice around their timeline which made everything run much smoother on the day. The weather forecast had promised some pretty severe poor weather including thunder storms and lightning, which meant that Emma and Sam opted against having the outdoor wedding ceremony, they had initially planned and everything was set up for indoors. The weather forecast ended up being very wrong, as all we got was an occasional bit of rain which always fell at the right time in terms of not effecting anything on the day.

When it came time to choose a venue, Emma and Sam knew they wanted a venue that could deliver a professional level of service while still being personal. After visiting a few spots around Northern Ireland, nothing for them compared to Glenpark Estate in Omagh. The moment they arrived, they were swept away by the tranquil setting and the estate's quiet grandeur. What made Glenpark Estate truly special wasn’t just its stunning aesthetics, it was the feeling it gave them. The staff were warm and welcoming, the spaces were versatile, and the natural surroundings offered countless options for both ceremony and celebration. Glenpark had the rare ability to feel both luxurious and homely, making it the ideal spot for Emma and Sam’s vision.

Emma and Sam decided to enlist the services of an independent celebrant to officiate their wedding ceremony. Trish told the story story of how Emma and Sam first met, the journey of them falling in love, and all the significant moments that led up to their special day. What truly made the ceremony unforgettable were the personal vows Emma and Sam wrote for each other. Raw, honest, and full of love, their words painted a picture of shared adventures, quiet moments, and a promise to always choose one another, even on the tough days.

The ceremony was made all the more memorable by the unique touch of having the wedding rings delivered by an owl. To celebrate their union at the end of the ceremony they shared a celebratory shot with their guests, starting the rest of the day of with a bang.

Wedding Photos at Glenpark Estate

Glenpark Estate’s grounds are truly something out of a fairytale. Manicured gardens, serene woodlands, and charming courtyards create endless photo opportunities. A gentle breeze carried the scent of blooming flowers, and the sounds of birdsong added a peaceful soundtrack to the day.

The best part about the wonderful time we had with Emma and Sam after the ceremony, during their portrait session was how genuinely invested these two were in their wedding photography experience. They not only allowed us plenty of time to capture some special moments between them, but they were also up for the silly things we asked them to do as well. We had craic in spades with them both as you will see from the photos.

Once we managed to track down the one missing bridesmaid, who had disappeared (it happens at nearly every wedding), we were able to crack on with capturing some photos of the guys with their bridal party and families. Photos sorted for now, the guys spent the rest of their free time chilling with their guests and watching the amazing birds of prey which were on hand to provide entertainment before the call for dinner.

After the speeches and dinner we grabbed Emma and Sam for a few more photos before they were enthusiastically welcomed back by their guests for the first dance. Emma and Sam put on a pretty good routine it has to be said. Emma then shared a dance with her dad, Sam did the same with his mum, before everyone else piled on to the dance floor to party the rest of the night away,
