Weddings at Glenpark Estate
Photographers who know the estate and its quiet corners
Glenpark Estate is just outside Omagh in Co. Tyrone, on the site of the former Ulster History Park. It sits in mature woodland, lawns and open land, with a stone walled courtyard and a purpose built wedding pavilion, and the estate takes one wedding a day, so the grounds are yours for the whole day.
It is a big, peaceful estate, so a little planning goes a long way. We have photographed weddings here, we know how a day flows between the pavilion, the courtyard and the woodland, and we plan your timings around the light and how your guests will move from place to place.
Not sure Glenpark is the one yet? Read our Glenpark Estate venue guide for the advantages and disadvantages, or have a look at our luxury wedding photographer page to see how we work.
One wedding a day, so the whole estate is yours.

Photography at Glenpark Estate
Every corner of Glenpark, captured
Glenpark Estate gives us a lot of variety in one place, from a wedding pavilion and a stone courtyard to woodland paths and open lawns. Here are the locations we use on your wedding day and why each one matters.
The Wedding Pavilion
The purpose built pavilion is the heart of the day and has room for up to 180 guests. We photograph the ceremony and the reception quietly from the sides, and use the space around it for the arrival, the confetti and the first moments as a married couple.
The Stone Walled Courtyard
The courtyard has stone walls and old looking stone buildings set in mature woodland, which give us lovely texture and character for portraits. Doorways and arches make natural frames, and it is a good place to work if the weather turns.
The Woodland Paths
The estate has mature trees and quiet woodland paths, so we can find a corner for relaxed, natural portraits away from your guests. The light under the trees is soft, and it is easy to change the backdrop without going far.
The Lawns and Open Land
The well kept lawns give us space for group photographs and for walks with your guests, and the open land around them gives us big skies and room to breathe. With one wedding a day, we can use whichever part of the estate suits the moment.
Real weddings at Glenpark Estate
See our work at Glenpark
We have photographed weddings at Glenpark Estate in the pavilion, in the stone courtyard and out in the woodland, and every one is edited in the same natural, true to life style.
Each is a full day, with the getting ready, the ceremony, the portraits around the grounds and the party in the evening. Click a photo to see the whole day.
When storms were forecast on Emma and Sam's wedding day, the ceremony moved indoors and everything still worked beautifully. We always agree a wet weather plan with you beforehand.
With one wedding a day we never work around another party, so we can use the courtyard, the woodland and the lawns wherever the light is best.
The stone walls, doorways and woodland paths give us plenty of quiet places for relaxed portraits, away from your guests but never far from the party.
What our couples say
Kind words from our couples
What couples say about having Tommy and Laurene photograph their wedding day.
I 100% recommend Pure Photo N.I. The photos were amazing. They were amazing to work with, they were friendly, great at communicating throughout the whole process, and the only regret I had at the wedding was that I didn’t get them to stay the whole night! You definitely can’t go wrong with Pure Photo N.I.
Tommy and Laurene 2 absolute legends! From settling my nerves to climbing into random locations for the perfect shot to capture (that turned out beautifully) they made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed, particularly myself! We couldn’t recommend these guys enough. Great craic with them both from start to finish!
Absolutely over the moon with our wedding photos! Tommy and Laurene did an outstanding job at capturing our perfect day. They were a breath of fresh air from start to finish. Extremely professional and we owe them a massive thank you for putting in so much time and effort to capture our day exactly how we remember it.
Frequently asked questions
Your Glenpark Estate wedding photography questions answered
The things couples ask us most about photography at Glenpark Estate. If yours is not here, send us a message or have a look at our wedding FAQ.
Do you photograph weddings at Glenpark Estate?
Yes. We have photographed weddings at Glenpark Estate, including Zara and Conor and Emma and Sam, so we know the pavilion, the courtyard and the grounds well. Both of us come to every wedding, so you get two photographers for your whole day.
Where is Glenpark Estate?
Glenpark Estate is at 150 Gortin Road, Omagh, BT79 7SU, in Co. Tyrone, on the site of the former Ulster History Park at the foot of Gortin Glen Forest Park. It feels secluded without being remote.
How many guests can the wedding pavilion hold?
The purpose built wedding pavilion can host up to 180 guests. Numbers can change, so check the current figure with the estate when you enquire.
Where are the best places for photos?
The stone walled courtyard, the woodland paths and the lawns all work beautifully, with old stone walls and doorways for texture. With one wedding a day we can use whichever part of the estate suits the light, and we plan the order of locations around your timings.
What if it rains on our wedding day?
We always agree a wet weather plan with you beforehand. On one wedding we photographed here the ceremony moved indoors when storms were forecast and everything still worked beautifully. The courtyard and its stone buildings also give us interesting places to work if the weather turns.
Is it easy to get around the estate on the day?
It is a fairly long walk from the main building to the wedding pavilion, which can be hard for anyone with mobility issues. The estate provides transport for the main movement of guests, so ask about it, and we plan your timings with the walk in mind.
How much does a Glenpark Estate wedding photographer cost?
Our collections start at £1,375 for half day coverage and go up to £2,675 for a full day with albums and an engagement session. Both of us photograph every wedding, and there is no extra travel charge for weddings within Northern Ireland. You can see exactly what is included on our pricing page.
Do you have a venue guide for Glenpark Estate?
Yes. Our Glenpark Estate venue guide covers the advantages and disadvantages, the facts couples ask about most and a sample timeline for the day.
When will we get our photographs?
Your private online gallery is delivered within six weeks of your wedding, with high resolution downloads and a print shop. If you cannot wait, our fast edit add on guarantees your photos within 10 days for an extra £400.
