Manor House Country Hotel Wedding | Jacqui + Will
Jacqui and Will got married on the 14th of July at The Manor House Country Hotel in Enniskillen. Both their wedding ceremony and reception took place at the venue.
We first met Jacqui when we photographed her brothers wedding a few years ago. Jacqui was a bridesmaid at that wedding and this time around it was her sister-in-law’s turn to be bridesmaid. We must have made an impression as having spent the day with us before Jacqui wanted us to photograph her own wedding.
For Fermanagh weddings we often stay up there the night before to avoid a ridiculous early morning start on the morning of the wedding. This time around we ended up staying at the venue the night before. This meant instead of a long car journey on the morning of the wedding we only had to travel one floor down to photograph the girls getting ready. The girls were all in great form and there was quite a lot of familiar faces around. It was a great day to be a wedding photographer in Enniskillen,

Will arrived in a huge stretch Hummer a little later on. We found him getting a little bit of ceremony tuition by the celebrant just after he had arrived. There was a little bit of concern when he arrived that his Mum and Dad were running a bit late and might not make the ceremony, but luckily enough they arrived at the hotel with minutes to spare.
Jacqui and Will opted for a Humanist wedding ceremony, so that they could have their wedding at the time they wanted rather than being restricted to the times that were available from the local registry office. This also meant that the ceremony was more personal than just the legal part and the guys were able to include a hand fasting as part of the ceremony. Will put a brave face on it, but we could see at times he was feeling a bit emotional.

After the ceremony we made our way down to the little marina with Jacqui and Will for their bride and groom portraits. The sun was high and strong, making photography a little more difficult but the guys both did great. Back at the Manor House we grabbed the bridal party and were able to find a little area of shade so we could get some photos of them and Jacqui and Will’s family.
Back inside the hotel the guys had a little bit of chill out time with their guests before being called inside for the speeches. After dinner we grabbed Jacqui and Will for another quick 10 minutes and so we could use an area we like at the front of the hotel that wasn’t usable in the early part of the day due to the high sun.
Back inside the hotel again the guys hit the dance floor for their first dance and their wedding band kept everyone entertained. As we made our way home from this one, we couldn’t help but think how much of a tight nit family group these guys are, Jacqui and Will even headed off on honeymoon with their family as well. It was also really nice to catch up with one of our couples after such a long period of time and see them still so happy and now complete with their own little family.
