Tullyveery House Wedding | Emily + Tom
Emily and Tom were married on the 8th of July at Tullveery House in Downpatrick with both their wedding ceremony and reception taking place at the venue.
While Emily is originally from Northern Ireland, both her and Tom both live in England, so most of their wedding was planned from afar, excluding the occasional visit. Like so many couples that have gotten married this year they have had multiple date changes along the way, so it was great to see these guys finally have their big day!

Right from the moment we arrived at Tullyveery House we knew we were in for an incredible wedding day. This was our first visit to this beautiful venue and we can’t wait until the next time. On arriving we went for a quick look around and were blown away by both the beautiful scenery at the venue and the friendliness and professionalism of Charlie and the rest of the team.
We met up firstly with Emily who had stayed at Tullyveery along with the rest of the girls the night before, to photograph them all getting ready. It was a hive of activity as is normal at most weddings but Emily had everything organised to perfection, so everything went smoothly.
Tom and the boys arrived a little later and after a quick pint of Guinness, set about getting ready for the ceremony. Like most brides Emily was a little nervous about being the centre of attention all day, but her girls kept her entertained all morning and it was the same for Tom and his boys.
The ceremony took place in the absolutely stunning walled gardens at Tullyveery and was performed by Humanist celebrant Janni Knox. As Emily made up her way up the aisle the emotion of it all got to Tom who ended up in floods of tears, Emily was shedding a few tears herself by the time she reached him as well.

This was such a relaxed chilled out wedding day, we had plenty of time with the Emily and Tom for their bride and groom portraits and got to visit all of the best areas at the venue including a field which has an outstanding view over the lake. The bridal party were all such good fun and up for everything we asked of them as well. Emily and Tom also got to spend plenty of quality time with their family and friends.
After dinner and the speeches which were relaxed and took place outside, we grabbed Emily and Tom for a few more photos and laughed so hard as the boys gave Tom the fright of his life on the swing.
After a bit of chill out time the guys then did their first dance outdoors in the courtyard. For some reason dancing outside always seems more exciting to photograph. Emily then had a father/daughter dance with her dad before everyone else joined in.
