Rebecca + Maykon's Rosspark Hotel Wedding
Rebecca and Maykon exchanged vows and celebrated their marriage on the 13th of June at the beautiful Rosspark Hotel in Kells. The stunning venue hosted both their heartfelt wedding ceremony and joyous reception.
When we arrived at the Rosspark Hotel it was already raining heavily and it didn’t really stop until late into the evening, we haven’t had weather like this at a wedding for a good long time.

Rebecca, accompanied by her loving mother and bridesmaids, opted to spend the night before her wedding at Rosspark. This allowed them to prepare for the big day conveniently from the comfort of the hotel, creating a relaxed and seamless start to the celebrations. Maykon arrived later on, along with his family who had taken there very first plane journey from Brazil to be there on the day.
This venue boasts a purpose-built pavilion specifically designed for hosting beautiful wedding ceremonies, and it was within this elegant setting that Rebecca and Maykon lovingly exchanged their heartfelt vows, marking the beginning of their journey together as a married couple. The ceremony lasted a little longer than normal so that everything could be translated into Portuguese for all of the Brazilian guests. While the religious aspect of their wedding was very important to the guys, their minister did a great job of keeping everything light hearted and upbeat. Their was plenty of smiles, laughter and happy tears throughout.

After the ceremony, despite the challenging conditions of high winds and heavy rain, we eagerly embarked on our bride and groom portraits session with Rebecca and Maykon. While many couples might have sought shelter indoors, we were delighted when Rebecca and Maykon were determined to brave the elements so that we could capture these special moments for them.
Back inside the venue, we captured some beautiful moments with the bridal party, as well as with Rebecca and Maykon's families. Following that, the bride and groom departed to enjoy some quality time with their loved ones and friends before the call for the speeches. During dinner Singers By Surprise arrived and entertained all of the guests. Singing waiters have become incredibly popular in the last few years and we often see them at weddings now.
With the poor weather eventually starting to ease off, we were able to get another 10 minutes with Rebecca and Maykon before the dancing began, allowing for another quick walk around the venue. After the first dance, Rebecca and her father elegantly swayed to a classic melody during a heartwarming father-daughter dance, creating a touching moment filled with love. Soon after, their family and friends joined them on the dance floor to party the night away.
