Beech Hill Wedding | Anna + Danaan
Anna and Danann wedding ceremony took place on the 3rd of July at St. Mary’s Church. Their wedding reception was held just across the road at the amazing Beech Hill Country House, creating a perfect and intimate setting for their special day.
Having worked at Beech Hill before we had been eagerly waiting for another chance to visit as this is a beautiful wedding venue that has excellent photo opportunities.
Everything on the day was conveniently close by, with the guys also getting ready at Beech Hill. Because no travelling was required on the day itself, everything ran smoothly and like clockwork. It was at the venue that we met up with Anna, her sister who was also her bridesmaid, and her mum on the morning of the wedding. They were all busy with hair and make-up preparations, creating a joyful and excited atmosphere as the day began to unfold. An excited Danaan, accompanied by his best man, arrived a little bit later on, full of anticipation and ready for the celebrations ahead.

As we made our way across the road for the ceremony, unfortunately it began to rain quite heavily. The downpour was persistent and, sadly, the rain continued steadily for the remainder of the day. This meant a mad dash from the car to to the ceremony for Anna as she arrived but once inside the cosy church the rain was forgotten and it was time for the Anna and Danaan to get married and they say rain of your wedding day is lucky anyway.
Traditional church buildings always add a little bit of additional atmosphere to a wedding ceremony and this is a proper old school church dating from 1889. Although this was a traditional wedding ceremony the priest did a great job of keeping the ceremony light hearted and relaxed.
After the ceremony we made our way back over to Beech Hill for the drinks reception. As the guys quickly grabbed some refreshments, we carefully kept a close eye on the rain, hoping for a brief break in the poor weather to explore around the venue. Unfortunately a proper break never came and in the end we made the most of a small lull and found an area that kept everyone mostly dry and just went for it.

While the weather wasn’t quite what everyone had hoped for on the day, Anna and Danaan truly made their own sunshine and absolutely rocked their bride and groom portraits with genuine joy and confidence. Although we were a little disappointed not to be able to explore all of the beautiful grounds that surround Beech Hill, the moments we captured still shone brightly and reflected their wonderful connection.
We did our best to quickly finish off the bridal party and family photos, ensuring the guys could head back indoors without delay and enjoy some quality time with their guests before the speeches and dinner began. We had hoped to get back outside again after dinner, but with the weather still not playing ball, Anna and Danann spent that time socialising with their guests and preparing themselves for the party ahead.
What an incredible party it was! Right after the first dance, the dancefloor absolutely exploded with energy, and as you will see from the photos, these guys really know how to have a fantastic time.
