Love in Full Bloom: Rachel and Curtis' Leighinmohr Hotel Wedding
Rachel and Curtis got married on the 6th of July with both their wedding ceremony and reception taking place at the Leighinmohr House Hotel in Ballymena.
Rachel and the girls all got ready from her home in Ballyclare on the morning of the wedding. It was a great atmosphere all morning as the girls got ready and enjoyed a fab breakfast. Curtis and Rachel’s dog kind of stole the show but it was all good.
Rachel had booked most of the dream team for her wedding. Including ourselves, the service was performed by Pastor James Clarke, who we hadn’t seen in a while and the flowers on the day were provided by our friend Elaine at Ditsy Floral Design. It was great to catch up with them both on the day.

The ceremony itself went off with just one hitch! Rachel mistakenly put the ring on her new husband’s right hand instead of his left which gave everyone a few giggles. We have seen this happen a few times, so Rachel isn’t on her own with this one.
After the ceremony and after we had gotten a few quick photos with Rachel, Curtis and their dog, we made our way over to Antrim Castle gardens for a bit of alone time with Rachel and Curtis. The guys had chosen Antrim Castle gardens for their photo location as it is somewhere they visit regularly and love. It is somewhere we really like for photography as well and somewhere we know very well having photographed multiple weddings, engagement sessions and family portrait sessions there. If you are getting married at any of the wedding venues near here, Antrim Castle gardens is a great choice as a location for photos.
Wedding photos at the Leighinmohr Hotel
Once back at the Leighimohr, we had just enough time to grab Curtis and Rachel’s bridal party and family for some photos in the hotel grounds before everyone was called inside for the speeches. The speeches all went very well, we especially liked Rachel’s mums.
After dinner the guys at the Leighinmohr kindly let us open the gates to their gardens again so that we could get some more time with Curtis and Rachel. Getting even a few minutes with our couples in the evening time is something we always like to do when possible as that is often when there is the best light.
Back inside the venue it was time for the first dance which we know the guys were a little nervous about but as you can see from the photographs, they both did very well.
The Leighimohr Hotel is a venue we have photographed a lot of weddings at. If you are in the middle of planning your own Leighinmohr wedding and would like to view photographs taken at another of our weddings there, check out this wedding as well. Leighinmohr Hotel Wedding Photographer
