The Gardens and Grounds
The hotel has a small garden with mature planting and the elegant Georgian facade of the hotel as a backdrop. We find it works best for group photos with family and friends, and we know exactly where to place everyone for the best light. We also use the garden for evening portraits of the bride and groom. For portraits earlier in the day we often suggest a second location nearby, so you make the most of your time with us, and we are always happy to plan around what you prefer.
The Hotel Exterior and Entrance
The Georgian architecture of Leighinmohr makes for one of the most striking hotel exteriors in County Antrim. The entrance and front facade give us portraits with real elegance and character. We have photographed this spot across every season and it consistently delivers images that feel refined and full of atmosphere regardless of the weather.
The Ballroom
The newly refurbished ballroom at Leighinmohr is a genuinely beautiful reception space. As the day moves into evening and the room fills with candlelight and the warmth of a full wedding reception, it becomes one of the most rewarding interiors we work in. The scale of the dancefloor, the styling and the energy of a Leighinmohr reception always gives us something compelling to work with.
The Garden Room
The new dedicated Garden Room at Leighinmohr adds a fresh and light filled space to an already strong venue. It gives us a bright and airy alternative to the more formal interiors and works beautifully for relaxed portraits, drinks reception coverage and candid moments throughout the day. It is a welcome addition and one we are already making full use of on wedding days here.
