Spring Wedding at La Mon Hotel | Leah + William
Nestled in the serene countryside just outside of Belfast, La Mon Hotel provided the perfect backdrop for Leah and William's amazing wedding day with both their wedding ceremony and reception taking place at the venue. As Belfast wedding photographers we have photographed lots of weddings at La Mon.
To make things as hassle free as possible on the day Leah and her bridesmaids got ready from the hotel on the morning of the wedding, having stayed the night before. Poor Leah was very anxious about all the fuss that a wedding day brings, but her lovely bridesmaids and her Mum made sure that she was well supported and the morning flew past in no time at all.

As we mentioned on our blog many times before we got married at La Mon ourselves. Even more coincidentally though, Leah and William got married the day after our 15th wedding anniversary. We had also been at the La Mon Hotel for a photography conference just a couple of days before.
William and his groomsmen arrived at the hotel a little later in the morning. He was keen to go greet their guests so after a couple of quick photos we headed back to see Leah. After the girls had all finished getting ready, Leah did an emotional dress reveal for all the ladies.
We bumped into Leah’s brother before the ceremony who seemed nearly as nervous as she was about walking her down the aisle. These guys opted for a humanist wedding ceremony which was performed by Michael McAlinden, who had also officiated the wedding we photographed the week before as well. Michael did a great job again and provided exactly the ceremony that Leah and William had wanted.

After the ceremony we headed out around the venue for a walk with Leah and William. With all the pre-wedding tension gone, they were both in full enjoy themselves mode, and we had great craic with them both, before heading back to shoot their bridal party and family photos. The weather was fantastic on the day as well, just like it was 15 years prior when we got married here.
Back inside La Mon it was time for the speeches. We knew we were in for a good night when Leah and William walked into the room to Bit’s N Pieces! William’s speech had Leah’s mum in tears and it wasn’t long before William was shedding a few tears himself. After a quick hug from his dad and Leah supporting him, he managed to get through it.
After dinner we grabbed the guys for a quick 10 minutes for some more photos, and just for the giggles the last photo shown here was replicated from one of our own cheesy wedding photos.
The guys walked in for their first dance to massive cheers from their family and friends, but there were even bigger cheers for what came next. William’s Uncle Dave grabbed the mic and sang his absolute heart out. Half of Belfast must have heard the cheers and the shouts of Dave! Dave! Dave!
Leah and William's spring wedding at La Mon Hotel was a celebration of love, unity, and the timeless beauty of the season, with lots of laughter on top! While it’s always special for us to photograph any wedding, this one felt even more special being at our own wedding venue, just a day after our 15th wedding anniversary.
