We have been here as a couple, as guests and across dozens of wedding days as photographers. That depth of experience changes everything about how we work on your day.

The Riverview Suite
The Riverview Suite is one of the rooms where ceremonies take place at La Mon and it is a beautiful space to work in. The room has a warmth and elegance that photographs brilliantly. We know exactly how the light moves through this space and we position ourselves to capture every moment of your ceremony naturally and without interruption.
The Outdoor Terrace
The outdoor terrace is one of the most versatile spots at La Mon for photography. It gives us a clean, elegant backdrop at any time of day and the architecture of the hotel frames portraits perfectly here. We know this spot well from our own wedding day and that familiarity shows in how we use it.
The Hotel Entrance Area
The area around the hotel entrance is somewhere we have a very personal connection with. It is where we got married ourselves and it remains one of our favourite spots on the grounds. The surroundings give every image a timeless, classic feel that suits the character of La Mon perfectly.
The Tree Lined Area
The tree lined area to the left of the venue is one of those spots that guests rarely notice but we always plan around. It gives us dappled light in summer, rich golden tones in autumn and a beautifully moody quality in the quieter months. For couples who want portraits that feel a little more natural and relaxed it is one of the best spots La Mon has to offer.

Every wedding at La Mon Hotel and Country Club is different. Some couples marry in the Riverview Suite, others outdoors in the gardens, and the Northern Irish weather has a say in all of them. These are nine days we photographed here, so you can see how we work.

How far in advance should we book?
La Mon is one of the most popular wedding venues in the Belfast area, and peak dates fill up well in advance. We would always recommend getting in touch as soon as your La Mon date is confirmed. For summer Saturdays we are often booked 12 to 18 months ahead, so the sooner you reach out the better chance we have of holding your date.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day at La Mon?
We have photographed weddings at La Mon in all kinds of weather and we are always prepared. The hotel gives us beautiful indoor spaces to work with, and the covered areas around the venue mean we are never stuck. Soft overcast light is flattering for portraits, and some of our favourite images from La Mon were taken on grey days.
Can we get ready at La Mon on the morning of our wedding?
Absolutely, and we would encourage it. La Mon has a great selection of hotel rooms, and many couples stay the night before and get ready at the venue. It means we can be with you from the very start of the day in the same surroundings, which makes for a more relaxed morning and a more cohesive gallery from start to finish.
