La Mon Hotel Wedding | Pamela + Colm

On the beautiful summer day of the 26th of July, Pamela and Colm joyfully exchanged their wedding vows in a traditional ceremony held at St. Agnes in Belfast. Following the vows, the newlyweds and their loved ones gathered at La Mon Hotel and Country Club to celebrate their marriage, as Belfast wedding photographers this a venue we visit a lot!

Pamela and the rest of the ladies opted to prepare for the special day at a nearby hotel in Belfast. This choice alleviated the need for extensive travel before the ceremony, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable pre-wedding experience. With 6 bridesmaids, along with Pamela and her mum present, the dedicated team handling makeup and hair styling did a great job ensuring everyone was ready in time.

Upon our arrival at the chapel, we were welcomed by the sight of a jubilant Colm and his groomsmen, brimming with anticipation and joy for the special moments that lay ahead. Pamela and the girls arrived right on time for the ceremony, which doesn’t happen often.

While the ceremony itself was very traditional, Pamela made her entrance down the aisle accompanied by both her mother and father, creating a heart warming and timeless moment that will forever be cherished.

The weather forecast had promised some very bad weather so as soon as the ceremony was over we hightailed it to the La Mon Hotel to try and ensure that we got to shoot some stuff with the guys before the bad weather arrived.

As it turned out the weather forecast was completely wrong and other than a few inconvenient short rain showers the weather was great all day long. This allowed us to get all of the photos at La Mon Hotel with Pamela and Colm, plus shoot all of there photos with their bridal party and family with lots of time time to spare. This worked out great for the guys as they were then able to have plenty of quality time celebrating with their family and friends before being called inside for the speeches.

After the speeches and dinner it was time for the first dance, which was closely followed by an emotional father/daughter dance. Not to be outdone Colm and his mum shared the dancefloor straight after, before everyone else joined them.
