About the venue
A Tyrone country house with a walled garden
Corick House Hotel and Spa sits in the Clogher Valley in County Tyrone. It is a country house hotel with a history going back to the 1600s, a drive lined with old beech trees and a Victorian walled garden, and couples who live nearby often marry in their local church and celebrate here.
We have photographed weddings here more than once, and you can see two full days on our blog from Ashleigh and Brooks and Ashleigh and Nathan, so this guide comes from real days, not a brochure. For more ideas, have a look at our blog on the best wedding venues in Northern Ireland, or get in touch about your date.

The honest view
The good and the not so good
Here is our view of Corick House Hotel and Spa, from the weddings we have photographed there.
Advantages
- Only one wedding runs each day, so the hotel is yours for the day
- A Victorian walled garden, lawns and old beech trees for portraits close to the hotel
- Shady spots in the grounds, which made a hot day comfortable for Ashleigh and Nathan
- 43 bedrooms, so family and friends can stay on site, and the hotel has a spa
- A dining room with tall windows that fills with soft natural light
Disadvantages
- Clogher is a rural location, so allow time for guests to travel from Belfast and Armagh
- When couples marry in a church some distance away, time before dinner can get tight, so we plan the portraits with you
- The gardens are outdoors, so ask the hotel what the wet weather plan is
- We have photographed church ceremonies and receptions here, so ask the hotel about its own ceremony arrangements

Wedding photography
Photographing weddings at Corick House Hotel and Spa
The hotel gives us a lot to work with, from the dining room and the speeches to the first dance in the evening. Only one wedding runs here each day, so the whole hotel is yours.
If you are looking for a photographer for a Tyrone wedding, get in touch, or read our blog on the best wedding venues in Northern Ireland.
Around the hotel
The gardens and grounds
The red carpet and steps at the front of the hotel are a lovely place for the family photographs, and the walled garden and lawns are close by for the couple portraits. The old trees around the grounds also give us lots of shade when the sun is strong.
On a very hot day we found shade for Ashleigh and Nathan, and if it rains we plan an indoor option with every couple. Ask the hotel about its own wet weather plan.
Ceremonies and countryside
Beyond the hotel
Many couples marry in their local church and arrive at Corick House for the reception. Ashleigh and Brooks were married at Tullyallen Church in Armagh, and Ashleigh and Nathan at Saintfield Baptist Church, before both celebrated here. Ashleigh's only must have photograph was a few quick pictures with her cows on the way, and we were happy to stop for them.
If you marry some distance away, tell us early so we can plan the timings and still leave time for portraits at the hotel. For more ideas, read our blog on the best wedding venues in Northern Ireland.
