Clandeboye Lodge Wedding | Eilisea + Josh

So, let us tell you about an incredible wedding we had the honour of capturing recently. On the 28th of September, Eilisea and Josh tied the knot at the beautiful Clandeboye Lodge Hotel in Bangor, Northern Ireland. It was truly a day filled with love, joy, and picturesque moments.

The day started off early for Eilisea and her lovely entourage of girlfriends who were getting ready at a friend's house in the heart of Belfast. As a wedding photographer based in Northern Ireland, it's always exciting for us to capture those precious moments of preparation. From the laughter and excitement to the intricate details of the bride's dress and accessories, every detail holds its own significance.

Once the bridal preparations were complete, we headed over to the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel to meet up with Josh and his groomsmen. There's always a different energy surrounding the groom and his crew. From sharing laughs to soothing each other's nerves, and some dutch courage, capturing these moments adds an extra dimension to the wedding story.

As a special wedding day surprise for the couple, Elisea’s mum and dad arranged for the girls to be transported to the venue in a white Landrover, which holds special significance for the guys as Josh works for Landrover.

As the time for the ceremony drew near, Eilisea had a heartwarming first look with her dad. Witnessing the profound emotions that enveloped them both was a truly touching experience. These are the genuine moments that make a wedding day so special and memorable.

After the heartfelt ceremony at the Clandeboye Lodge, we took advantage of the stunning surroundings and headed over to Bangor Castle walled garden for some breathtaking portraits of the newlyweds. The garden's serene atmosphere and lush greenery offered the perfect backdrop for Eilisea and Josh's love to shine through in every frame. We have always been big fans of the walled garden at Bangor Castle. Along with the short walk through the forest to get there the walled garden itself is an excellent choice of location for photography.

Returning to the Clandeboye Lodge, we continued capturing the love and laughter shared between the bride, groom, and their nearest and dearest. From the bridal party to the families, each snapshot was another piece of the beautiful puzzle that this wedding day represented.

The evening progressed, and the atmosphere shifted to one of celebration and merriment as the speeches were made and dinner was served. However, the highlight of the night was undoubtedly the dancing. The moment when Eilisea and Josh took to the dancefloor as husband and wife was pure magic. Eilisea then followed this up with an emotional dance with her dad.

As the night continued to unfold, the dancefloor began filling up with family and friends ready to join the newlyweds in celebrating their love. From heartwarming father-daughter dances to friends embracing each other in laughter, it was a sight to behold. I made sure to capture every candid moment, preserving the essence of this unforgettable night.
