For couples that love a sense of history the main house on the estate dates back all the way to early 1800’s. The venue loves to incorporate elements of it’s rich history on every wedding day, for example they encourage couples to cut their wedding cake with the Drenagh sword.
The gardens at Drenagh Estate were mostly laid out in the 1830’s and 40’s but the original gardens date backall the way to 1640. They have recently completed an extensive restoration and the different areas incluse, The Walled Garden, The Italian Garden, The Glen, The Heather House, The Bog Garden, The English Garden, Old Cottage Wood, The Conifer Arboretum and The River Walk.

Being in Limavady, the location may be feel a bit far away for some couples.
Limited accommodation available, there are only 9 rooms including the bridal suite. So guests may need to book hotels and Airbnb’s close by, of which there are many.
