Larchfield Estate Weddings is a multi-award winning venue located in the heart of Northern Ireland in our home town of Lisburn. Steeped in history, Larchfield’s heritage dates back to the 1600’s, it has been beautifully restored to its former glory, featuring charming period architecture, elegant gardens and a serene lake. The estate boasts several event spaces, including a rustic barn, and a historic courtyard. Each space is beautifully decorated and offers an intimate setting for weddings.
In 2015, the Orangery was built to replace the marquee as the entry point to Larchfield Barn, a beautiful addition to the courtyard. Late 2019 saw the completion of the redevelopment of an 1800s railway style building facing the Larchfield Estate cottages. Harkening back to its history as a piggery, The Old Piggery was officially launched in 2020 as a new offering for special celebrations.

We are a venue recommended wedding photographer at Larchfield Estate. We have worked their numerous times and it is one of our favourite Northern Ireland wedding venues to visit. We have photographed both outdoor weddings in the stunning gardens and indoor wedding ceremonies in the barn. The barn is a great choice if you are planning a winter wedding when the weather may not be just as good but there is something magical about outdoor wedding ceremonies here.

One thing that really stands out to us every time we visit Larchfield is how well the venue lends itself to relaxed and fun filled wedding days. This venue has a vibe all of its own. Photography opportunities are unreal here, we have visited this venue in every season and no matter what time of the year the grounds provide an amazing backdrop for stunning wedding photography.
We especially like that the area around the lake is only available to the bride and groom on the day. It’s a beautiful place for the bride and groom to share some alone time, while we capture some awesome portraits with them. This also means that we can photograph the bride and groom there, while making use of all of the many other areas for photographs with their family and friends which provides great variety when we deliver our couples their wedding gallery. This is also very much a pet friendly venue so if you want to bring along your best friend on your wedding day, they are happy to accommodate that, which we love!
